Question

Add Libraries to Image selection of Buzz's Content Editor

Ryan_Parker1

Right now in Buzz if you give someone a template and want to let them swap out an image, they can only Upload an image from their computer to “replace” the image, OR drag in an image from a library from scratch, but it won’t replace the existing image.

Uploading an image from your computer is a good way to replace, but we want to give content editors a library of images to choose from that we curate.

Ideally in this view there would be a Library icon, and then we could choose a photo from a Library to replace the image. This feels like a big miss compared to Express, which handles this much better.

100% on board with this request.

I’m trying to get the nondesigners of my team to transition from Canva into Buzz and this would make all the difference, otherwise they won’t get as much value from our libraries, what’s the point of having icon and images libraries if they have to redo the whole thing instead of switching them to keep their color, size, position and constrains?

From what I can tell, there’s no way to swap instances. I saw a button like that in the promotional video, but I cannot get that appear in the UI.

My workaround is to export all my background images and icons as PNGs, then but them in a shared folder that a marketer can upload. Pretty clunky but it works.

@jonsamp We’ve also started using a curated Google Drive to get around this. It does work for now, but would still love an eventual solution.
