Hi @Adam Hughes ,
I understand you’re experiencing an issue where exported JPEGs sometimes show an extra 1px white line along the bottom or right edges.
Thanks for confirming that both the X and Y positions of your frames are set to whole pixels.
We’re aware of a similar issue that could occur when an object’s X or Y position includes a decimal value (for example, X: 100.5).
However, our engineering team recently rolled out a fix for this. If your case is related to that cause, please try fully refreshing Figma to see if the issue persists.
Here are a few other possible causes and solutions:
- Export scale multiplier
We’ve observed that this issue can also occur when exporting assets using a non-integer scale multiplier (for example, 0.8x), unless the frame is positioned at (0,0).
If this applies to your case, try placing the frame at the origin point before exporting as an alternative solution.
- Frame dimensions
In my own testing, I found that a similar issue can happen when the frame’s dimensions include decimal values (for example, H: 100.5).
If that’s the case on your end, please try setting the dimensions to whole integers instead.
- GPU driver
Additionally, some users have reported that updating their GPU driver resolved similar export artifacts, so you might want to check that as well.
If none of these steps apply or the issue still occurs, we’d recommend submitting a support request through this secure form: Submit a request
When you fill out the form, please include:
- A short screen recording showing the steps to reproduce the issue
- The URL of the affected file
- The exported image file from your test
This will help our team investigate more effectively.
Thanks!
