I was assigned an ongoing project at the beginning and saved it in my Draft. I had been working on it for almost a week, and now it’s gone?! How is that possible?

Hi @milan_brankovic, Thanks for getting touch about this!

Could you please take a moment to look through the followings?

  1. Drafts and Trash for every team you have access to.

  2. If you have multiple accounts, please also take a quick look at your other account.

Lastly, there are a few more things I’d love for you to check out:

  • “Drafts to move” > “Drafts” tab and “Deleted drafts” tab

  • Trash > make sure to apply the appropriate filter

Here’s a guide for restoring your files: Delete and restore files

If you have checked all the locations mentioned and are still unable to find your files, please let us know.

We will then go ahead and create a support ticket for you to provide the dedicated assistance required to address this issue. While we cannot guarantee the recovery of the file at this moment, we will do everything possible to help you.

For the support ticket, it would be helpful if you could prepare the URL(s) of the missing file(s)/project(s). You might be able to retrieve the URL from:

  • Your web browser’s history.

  • Any previous conversations where you might have shared the file with colleagues.

  • The ‘File > Recently Closed’ menu if you’re using the desktop app.

Thanks for your assistance!

Thank you, but let’s be serious now and see if you can recover my work or not. I’ve been using Figma for years, and this is the first time something like this has happened to me.
