I’m trying to use Figma Buzz to create some templates. We have an icon library that uses a swap instance property within the component to swap out the icon as well as a property to define the size of the icon. As you can see in the image, it is only showing that first property of size of the icon and doesn’t let me switch out the actual icon with the instance swap. Is this a bug or limitation? If I click one more time it does show me my nested instance property where I can turn on the fill of the icon, but I don’t see how to access all the icons through the instance swap property we have on the component.

This image shows the replacements it’s offering me, which is to only change the size of the icon.

This image shows our original component we have size properties to define the size of the icon, and then an instance swap to choose the actual icon. Are we doing this wrong for this to be useful in Figma Buzz. Why can’t we see this other property in Figma Buzz?

I have the same struggle! I’m glad that you raised this issue.

Any PMs for Buzz on this board?

Since I got no answer on ask the community, reporting as a problem instead.

Glad that this was raised, we’re having a similar issue on our side that is a big blocker for us:

Hi All, thanks for flagging this issue!

@Lindsey_Drennan - apologies for the delayed reply. I’ve combined your two topics together into this one, and I’ve passed this over to our Figma Buzz team to investigate.

The Figma Buzz team confirmed that this is currently a limitation/expected behavior for now. But they are already proactively working on addressing this soon.

I don’t have an exact timeline to provide yet, but I will keep you updated as I continue to learn more from the team. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
