I’m a student from a state university in India, and I’m facing issues getting verified for the Figma Education Plan. Firstly, I exceeded my limit to verify myself.

So I reached out to both SheerID and Figma support, and after days of waiting, SheerId tells me that I cannot be verified unless I have a school-issued email. The problem is that my college does not provide a school email ID like many other institutions in India. I’ve already shared my student ID card with the team but i am being asked to come back with a student email id. The thing is how can i when not a single student in my university has a college email id. This new issue along with the entire verification limit exceed loop is just so exhausting.  

Its just simply unfair that i wont be eligible for a student plan despite being a legit student just because i dont have a school-issued email id. 

I genuinely request people @figma to consider other legit documents as proof, for those without a school email id. Especially since its really crucial for us in doing assignments and building projects for our portfolio.
