Request for Immediate Cancellation and Refund of Unused Monthly Subscription

I’ve accidentally created a monthly subscription (monthly full seats) in addition to my existing plan. This monthly subscription is completely unused and unnecessary. Despite this, the system does not allow the user to cancel it without being charged for the current month.

This is extremely frustrating, as we are being charged for a service I never intended to purchase and have not used at all, with no straightforward way to reverse the mistake. The lack of a self-service option to immediately cancel or void an unused seat makes the experience feel unfair and rigid.

We therefore requesting manual intervention to cancel the extra monthly subscription and remove or refund the current month’s charges, as keeping the charge for an unused, accidentally created seat is unreasonable and not reflective of good customer experience.

I understand that you accidentally added a new seat to your subscription and are requesting a refund for it.

 

We really appreciate you sharing your experience. However, just to clarify, Figma doesn’t offer prorated refunds when a plan is canceled. If you’re on a monthly plan, the seat remains active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.
