Just like iphone autofill, I found the autofill very annoying. It auto fill the wrong text that I did not want. I got to delete and re typing a lot. It should have a clearer way of signify Figma to fill in or not fill in, take devs' text suggestion for examples. And please provide me a way to turn it off.

This seems to be a new feature, or it was automatically turned on recently. It happens when I start typing, and the text frame wants to auto-fill.

I hear you. It must be frustrating to have the wrong text autofill.
The good news is you can disable text suggestions from the Main Menu > Text > Toggle off Show text suggestions.

It’s great that you can turn off the suggestions, but that does not disable the tab shortcut.
I love that hitting tab takes me to the next text box that I want, almost always, until now. Much frustration stems from this unexpected behavior on one of my favorite quality of life features, giving me a ‘no suggestions found’ toast.
Now I’m hitting shift+tab, tab, tab and that’s not super efficient.
