Hi Figma support, I have an urgent issue to ask: Figma could not display a sticky bottom bar when I used “Fixed in place” ,absolute positioning and set my prototype to iphone 13 setting. The sticky bottom bar does not even appear on iOS iphone 13!! I’ve tried using Last on top and First on top canvas stacking. Both only works on android device but not on iOS device on mobile in prototype mode!! I read that iOS mobile browser dun accept positioning of Figma! How can I overcome it?

Hi @Seet Seahteai — welcome to the Forum, and thanks for raising this! From what I can see, it looks like this issue has now been resolved. If you’re able, it’d be super helpful if you could share how you got things working in your file — that way anyone else who runs into the same roadblock can learn from your setup. 💡

@Farheen Haider — are you still seeing this on your end? If so, could you confirm whether you’re viewing in a mobile browser or in the Figma mobile app? If you haven’t tried the app yet, I recommend giving it a go to see if it loads as expected. You can find more details here: Download the mobile app.

Hopefully this clears things up, but if the issue sticks around, just drop a reply back here and we’ll dig in further together. 💯

I wanted the mobile prototype to work on a phone browser of android and iOS phones as our user testing participants do not wish to install additional app such as Figma mobile app

@Ochuko Hi - was wondering about this earlier too. I fixed mine by placing the fixed element at the bottom of my page and then set the constraints to bottom. Sample here.

If it’s fixed at the top, then place at the top of your frame and set constraints to top.

I’ve faced something similar before! On iOS, Figma’s “Fixed in place” doesn’t always work properly in prototype view because of how Safari handles fixed elements. Try wrapping the frame in an auto-layout or reducing the scrolling area. Also, test it in the Figma Mirror app instead of the browser it usually fixes the sticky bar issue.
