Hi, since a few days I cannot edit any Sites sections that contain Make components.
Any change results in endless vertical growth of the section it’s contained in (see screenshot attached). This is the case even if it’s just a manual text change within the Make code component.

I was hoping that it was a one time thing, but it keeps happening to any part of the page across several files that contain a Make component. I can consistently reproduce it.
Eventually, it leads to the site crashing and my only option to resolve the issue is to reset a previous page before changes in version history, not allowing me to make any changes to Make code embeds.
I haven’t received any error message for this yet.

I’ve observed that a notification appears that prompts me to reconnect layers (see image below), but that doesn’t fix the issue. In fact, the section just keeps growing or it resets and starts growing from the original size. I’ve followed the troubleshooting checklist as well and no changes to the behavior.

I’m using Figma desktop app version 125.6.5 on Macbook Pro 2023.

Hey @Lisanne_Visser1 - I want to get eyes on this ASAP. Can you please fill out this form and then reply here letting me know you’ve done so? Please indicate “Something stopped working” and I’ll get it routed to the right teams.

When you fill out that form, please share edit access to the file your screenshots are from with support-share@figma.com if you can. This is our official support account, and you won’t be charged for doing so. This would be super, super helpful for us to see what’s happening on the back end.

On the form I linked, it will request you do this as well -- however, I understand that there may be scenarios when you can’t do that (NDAs, etc.). Please still fill out the form when you have a chance.

Thank you!

I have exactly the same problem with one of my sites.

Hey @ksn , thanks so much for your reply. I’ve filed the report via the form and have given edit access to the file. I’m happy to support you in fixing the issue 😊

Hey @Lisanne_Visser1! Thank you so much, and apologies for my delay in acknowledging (I had been away last).

I double-checked on my end, and I see Anju reached out to you. I can also confirm that there was a bug ticket for this, and it’s being looked at by an engineer. I don’t have a timeline on when we’ll get an update, but you should get a reply via your ticket once there is a resolution.

Thank you!
