Annotations disappeared in all files

Kriiiiiiisnik

Hello, could you please clarify why the annotations stopped working? They seem to have disappeared from the bottom menu—only comments remain now.

Hi. They are available only in paid plans now. Are you in a Starter team?

Man that sucks, I had a bunch of annotations. Now they’re all gone :( wish they would have told us all of our annotations would be disappearing so we could save them as comments or something.

I am also having this issue. I am on a paid plan. Some annotations are showing as normal, but some have disappeared or are hiding. The only way to get these annotations to show again is when I have the annotation tool selected.

@Nellya For me, it seems as if the annotations tool is only available in some of my teams’ files (also causing many annotations to disappear when moving main components from one library to another). Do you know why this is and how to enable them in all files?

I’m not sure, but maybe you don’t have the necessary access to some of the files?

You need full seat with edit access to add annotations, and either full or dev seat to view them.

I’ll have to double check my devs account access, but I swear they have dev seats - utilized dev mode for designs and what not. Frustrating that another useful tool is buried so deep in the paywall webs.
