Hello everyone 👋
I'd love to share my latest UI/UX design concept called "Uono Play" – a mobile version of the classic card game reimagined with a fresh and friendly interface. This project is inspired by the social experience of playing UNO, now brought to life with modern visuals and mobile-first interaction.

I also share other design ideas here: https://heyapks.net/uono-play/

🧠 Project Idea
Uono Play is envisioned as a casual multiplayer game with an intuitive interface and vibrant design. The core UI focuses on delivering a fun and competitive atmosphere, suitable for all ages—from kids to adults.

🎨 Design Features

  • Main Menu: Minimal layout with bright colors and animated buttons.

  • Game Lobby: Shows player avatars, friend list, and options to “Join Game” or “Create New Game”.

  • Gameplay UI: Responsive card panel, visual effects during turns, and energetic sound cues.

  • Emote System: Players can send fun reactions during turns to interact with others.

  • UI Themes: Includes light, dark, and retro color themes.

🛠️Tools Used

  • Figma (for wireframes, interactive prototypes, and components)

  • Illustrator (for icons and graphic assets)

🗣️Open to Feedback!
This is still Version 1.0, so I’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • Is this layout kid-friendly enough?

  • Is bottom navigation (3 tabs) better than a side panel?

  • What can improve the mission/challenge UI system?

Thanks for stopping by!

The overall visual direction of Uono Play is really inviting and well thought out. The playful interface and clean layouts give it a modern yet nostalgic feel—perfect for a mobile revamp of a classic game like UNO.

A few thoughts and suggestions:

  • Kid-Friendly Layout: The UI elements seem clear and colorful, which is great for younger audiences. You might consider slightly larger touch targets for cards or buttons, especially for younger kids who may be using smaller devices.

Looking forward to seeing how this evolves! Great work and thanks for sharing the Figma preview—really inspiring stuff.
