Dear Figma Support Team,

I am contacting you regarding the activation of the Figma Education plan.

I have already submitted the verification form and also contacted SheerID via email several times. However, the verification process has not been successful. In my submissions, I have provided all the required information and supporting documents confirming that I am a lecturer at my university.

For verification, I used my institutional email address. However, my Figma account is registered with my personal email, which is the account that should receive the Education plan if my eligibility is approved.

    I understand you're looking to verify your eligibility for the Education plan on a Figma account registered with your personal email.


    To qualify for Education status, the Figma account you are using must be linked to your school-issued email address.

    Since your current account uses a personal email, please follow these steps:

    1. Update your Figma email: Change the email on your existing Figma account from your personal address to your institutional address. You can refer to this guide: Manage email address or password
    2. Apply for verification: Once updated, log in to Figma with that institutional email and start the application process here: figma.com/education/apply

    A few important notes:

    For Higher Education, the email domain must match your institution's domain to be verified. The verification is tied directly to the email address you use to log in to Figma.
