You can access a file’s version history from the file name menu.

1. Click on an empty spot in the canvas to deselect any layers.


2. In the toolbar, click the next to the file name.


3. Select Show Version History from the options.


4. Figma will show the file’s version history in the right sidebar.

Thanks, that is a little more direct. Why was it moved out of the other menus and menu search hotkey?

That is the behavior I used to have. I wonder what changed.

EDIT: Just checked and it is occurring to me on the web browser too. I normally just use the desktop app.

Behavior persists even after a reinstall

I double-checked and I’m not able to access Show version history from Quick actions, both on the web version and on desktop app currently.
