I understand you're seeing the "Verification Limit Exceeded" error while trying to re-verify your education status.
Since the verification process for higher education students is fully managed by our partner, SheerID, the best course of action is to contact their support team directly.

They’ll be able to reset your verification attempts and help resolve the error so you can complete the process.
In the meantime, you’ll still have access to your existing files, and once your verification is approved, your Education plan benefits will continue without interruption.

I don’t know if my re-verification went through because before it would say “we’re having troubles, please verify later,” so I tried it a couple of days later and got the “verification limit exceeded” screen.

I’m in the same situation as Victoria. I also wrote to SheerID and get the same message back. I’m not sure if I can do anything more. I hope you and your team will find a solution to this problem because I need access to Figma for my classes next semester 🥺
I am also facing the exact same issue and got the same reply from SheerID, which was in no way helpful. Plus, the fact that Figma says I have to verify my account before 29th September is scary. I need this account and would be really grateful if the issue can be sorted before the deadline.
