Hello everyone,
I am a beginner in Figma and I would like to know if it is possible to copy / paste a component from one file to another while keeping / copying the styles associated with this component (text, colors, effects)?
When I cut and paste a component from one file to another, it works, but the styles are not transferred locally.
My idea is to copy/paste a complete, local UI Kit into a Figma file.
With cut/paste, I’m forced to cut/paste the styles and link everything in my new file. It’s time-consuming!
If I publish the Kit UI library, as soon as I modify a component it’s reflected everywhere. As my projects are all different, this poses a problem.
