How can SEO be properly optimized directly in Figma Make–generated websites?

Anay Mittal

I’m evaluating Figma Make as a production website builder and want to understand how far SEO can be optimised without exporting to another framework.

Specifically, I’m looking for real-world guidance on:

• How Figma Make outputs semantic HTML (headings, sections, nav, main, footer) and how much control designers have over this
• Best practices to ensure search engines correctly index text, headings, and page structure created in Make
• Ways to manage SEO essentials such as page titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, and Open Graph tags directly within Make or during deployment
• Handling SEO for long-form or content-heavy pages (service pages, blogs, FAQs) built entirely in Make
• Performance and Core Web Vitals considerations with Make-generated sites
• Known SEO limitations and recommended workarounds when using Make at scale

If you’ve launched SEO-focused or marketing-driven websites using Figma Make:
• What actually worked in practice
• What SEO constraints you ran into
• Whether you’d recommend Make for production marketing or enterprise sites

Looking for hands-on experience and implementation insights rather than documentation links.
Thanks in advance
