Question

Generating component instances for every possible variant

meme_man_at_work

So for the Chinese Version of Pokemon quest they made this thing you could use a few months before they permanently shut down the game where you could generate a picture of the entire pokedex and which ones you did manage to get.

I’m now recreating that layout in figma to generate a high quality version of it that’s fully completed.

In the top corner it showed your player icon, which I’ve recreated here:

Now each element that makes up the icon is seperate and is divided into:
39 Glasses
8 Skin Tones
162 Clothes
16 Eyes
16 Mouths
62 Hair Styles
103 Hats

I’ve made a setup like this to allow full customization for this icon which looks like this:

There are 3 hair components since it’s split into a back, middle and front hair layer.
However for this component the Front and Back toggles should not be viewable as your not supposed to edit them here.
The same goes for the hat, though the hat is split into just 2 layers: a back shown behind the head and a front shown…… in the front

Additionaly the 3 hair components need to be set to the same variant manually but ultimately I’d like to have 1 drop-down list control all 3 of them.
Same goes for the hat.

So far so good, but here’s the deal:
I want images of every single possible combination you can make with this.
I know how to export things in Figma so that much is not an issue.

What is an issue is the amount of possible combinations that I would need to configure 1-by-1:
There a total of 82.630.139.904 possible combinations which would take about 2600~ years to setup assuming it takes 1 second to set each one up.
Is there a way to automate placing instances with every possible combination of variants
