I was trying to delete a text style in Figma slides, and couldn’t figure it out at all. Until I accidentally move the popover to discover there’s actually two popover. The one on top is covering the one on the bottom with the delete button. Figma, you might want to fix this, seems like a glaring bug.

Thanks, this wasn’t obvious at all! I just came to the point thinking there simply is no way to delete text styles in Figma slides. Thank you!

Hey there!
Thanks for flagging this. Is it happening on browser, desktop app or both?

I am not able to replicate the issue on my end. (I tried on desktop app and browser)

As a first workaround, please try to clear out the cache. You can follow the steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22380853110551-Clear-the-Figma-desktop-app-cache

If the issue still persists, please reach out directly to the support team by filling out this form: Submit a bug report
In the form, make sure to use your Figma email account, and please share edit access to the file where you encounter the issue with support-share@figma.com (you won’t be charged for this). This will help our support team to investigate it further. Thank you!

Also experienced this! It happens in “Design mode” only (not in “Slides mode”)

Hey @Farheen Malik , thank you for flagging this! As your issue is happening on Design mode, have you already tried to clear out the cache on desktop app and/or browser, and force-quit and restart Figma to see if that helps?

Still, if the issue occurs, as mentioned above, we would like our team to investigate further the issue with you. When you have a moment, please submit a bug report. Thank you!

I experienced this problem where the style delete icon (trash can) was greyed out in Design mode (Windows desktop app). Clearing the cache as described by @Celine_  and restarting the desktop app fixed it for me.

Thanks!

Hey @Barbie-qu , great to hear the workaround did the trick. Thanks for letting us know!
