I created a presentation in Figma Slides, and it’s zoomed in when I go in presentation mode. And there isn’t a way to “Zoom to fit” like there is in prototype mode. Help!

Hi @Kyle14, Thanks for reaching out about this.

When in Presenter view on Slide, it opens your currently selected slide in a new tab where you can find the options to “Enter full screen” and “Exit full screen”.

I tested it on my end, and it seems to be working properly for both options. Could you please try the following quick fix to see if there are any differences?

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using.

  • For Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.

  • For Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.

If you still experience the issue, could you please share a recording demonstrating the issue you are facing along with the steps taken? Please ensure that the entire window is visible.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Please let us know if I misunderstood anything. Also, if anyone in our community has any suggestions or workarounds, please feel free to jump in.

Thanks again for reaching out.

@Junko3, I don’t think Kyle means the full screen toggle. My slides themselves are zoomed in, and I can’t view the whole slide at once when in present mode. I have to scroll around, which can’t be right. I used a built in template, and I don’t see any way to resize the slides themselves. This is the case regardless of whether I am in Audience mode or Presenter Notes mode.

Hello there, Thank you for reaching out!

If you are still facing the same issue after trying some basic troubleshooting steps, could you please share a recording demonstrating that the slides themselves appear zoomed in during presentation mode?

It would also be really helpful if you could let us know the name of the template you are using so that we can try to replicate the issue you are experiencing.

Regarding resizing slides, currently it’s not possible, but there is a related feature request that you might find interesting. You can check it out here: Adjustable/Custom-sized Figma Slides

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi! I’m experiencing the same issue where the slides won’t display at the full 1920 width dimension when in present mode (both just the slides and in presenter mode). The widest option seems to be 1748px which cuts off a lot of the slide.

I’m using the “Product Design Portfolio Presentation” template that’s under the Design & Research category. I’ve already tried closing all tabs, restarting Figma, and restarting my laptop. Any help would be appreciated - thank you!!

Hello @Allison_Woo, your situation appears to be slightly different from this post. Additionally, we have noticed that you have already posted the same comment at Figma Slides - Slide dimensions wrong when presenting

We are currently checking this internally and will provide a response on that post once we have more information.

Thanks,
