Dark theme although system is light

Can anyone tell me why I’m still getting a dark background even though my system theme is light and I’ve also manually changed my account to light theme? I’m using a MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon on Sonoma OS.
Same result for desktop app and browser.

If you are concerned about the Page/Canvas background, you can change it from Right Panel.

If you want to change the Tool UI theme, goto Preferences, by clicking Figma icon
image on top left and change the theme as needed

Thanks. I didn’t know the page was black by default. I changed the transparency. Not sure why that’s the default as I couldn’t see the grid.
