I added a new property for the component Menüpunkte named Text. At Text the ! says:
“Not used within properties”
 


When I click on a variant, e.g. the first Über mich, I can only choose the Status Property. Why and how can I solve this issue? Why does the variant does not have the property text from the component, which I added before?

You need to select not the whole variant, but the text inside it and apply text property to it

 

Thanks, I found it and got it, but what is the purpose of that text property. In your example I have now two states: Hover and Default, both have the connected text property. 

I could change the text from one variant and it does not matter which state Hover or Default I have choosen. Finally, it does not matter which variant I choose in the Link component, when I change the text for one of them, then …  the text would change for a copy of a variant outside the Link component. 

I hope my explanation is clear.

The main purpose of text property is to quickly change the text in the component. You don't need to click on it many times, you can change all the text from the right panel.
