Hi,
I have created a frame with a vertical auto-layout, then a group inside it to create a specific layout.
When I duplicate using Alt + clic, the object goes outside the group, which is driving me crazy 😅
But when I use Cmd + D it works fine, the object remains in the group.
Is that a bug?
Yeah this definitely looks like a bug that needs to be reported to Figma support team via support@figma.com or the support request form.
Landed here after a frustrated Google search. This should absolutely not be default behavior and needs to be fixed. Anything alt-dragged should be duplicated in-place wherever it already exists, not outside of its group. Reporting to support team.
