Perhaps these are two problems (or bugs) that are related.
Problem 1:
Our team profile has a library that includes components, styles, and so on.
I open the library’s publish menu:
- Assets tab in the upper left corner
- Team library icon in the top left corner
- Updates tab in the window that opens
- In the Updates tab, I always see updates of some colors that are already 10 months old
I click Update all or Update separately for each update, they disappear, but as soon as I return back to the Updates tab, they appear there again. I updated the library, updated the styles, reloaded Figma and so on. These styles do not disappear and it is indicated that these updates were 10 months ago (and they are). Design files that this library is attached to also always show the same updates.
Problem 2:
I duplicated original library (Library 1). I’m going to remake this copy of the library (Library 2) a bit and use it in a new project. However, in the same Updates tab, I still see updates to some colors from the original library 🤨.
For the sake of experiment, I unlinked and even deleted all the styles in the copy of the library (Library 2) and removed a lot of components, however I still see these updates in the Updates tab. All components in Library 2 are original and have no connection to Library 1.
Moreover, if I update a component in the original library (Library 1), then I get a notification in the new library (Library 2) that the component has been updated. I was wondering what would happen if the update. In the end, nothing happened. The component in Library 2 is still the same and the notification is gone, but those weird style updates from Library 1 are still in the Updates tab.
