I am creating a lo-fi digital prototype in Figma. All of my connection nodes work in my prototype in preview mode except for the following….”Back” arrow created by using the “line point” tool. In prototype mode I am able to connect each point to it’s proper page, but when I play my prototype, I get Nothing on every one of the pages that the Arrow is on. I have tried enlarging the stroke width on the arrow. deleting the arrows and creating them again. I am missing something and would appreciate the help. Thank you...Angel
Hey
We resolved a related prototyping issue earlier today, and a few other designers mentioned it here: Prototype Not working/Freezing. Does that sound like what you’re seeing? If so, try refreshing your browser or restarting the Figma Desktop App — that’s been resolving it for most folks.
If it’s still happening after that, could you share a quick screenshot of how your connections are set up? Also, when you say you get nothing on every one of the pages that the arrow is on, do you mean it’s showing a blank screen, an error message, or just no response when clicking?
Appreciate you taking the time to report this — we’ll keep an eye out for your update. 🙏🏻
Hi Tom:
I refreshed the screen. How do you restart the Figma App? I am still having the same issue of my “Back Buttons” not working. I’ve included a screenshot of my prototype. Here is a link as well:
.Thank you so much for your help. Again, all of my connected nodes function properly on my Prototype...It’s just the “Back” Arrows that are not working as intended. Take care….Angel
Hey
If so, a quick browser refresh might have fixed it, if what you’re seeing was related to the issue our engineering team recently resolved. From your screenshot, it looks like your setup is correct. I tested a similar setup on my end and wasn’t able to reproduce the same behavior. When I left the State field blank, the Back interaction navigated as expected to the previous frame.

Could you let me know if you’ve selected anything specific under State? That detail might help us narrow down what’s happening.
