After the recent UI3 update, the Auto Layout controls (direction, spacing, padding, etc.) don’t appear in the right sidebar in the Desktop version of Figma — even though Auto Layout is applied.
Everything works fine in the browser version.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Can you share a screenshot? You are probably in a Draw mode instead of the Design mode.
I’ve been using Figma for quite a long time, but I’ve never encountered an issue like this before.

You just resolved all my frustration. I’ve been using Figma for 8 years and with the UI changed, no guided tour told me about “draw” vs “design” mode and I thought a ton of functionality just vanished.
