Hello,
I am looking to create a good hero section for my site, where it should take the height of browser in the first fold. The subsequent sections can be of fixed heights based on content.
I need something like 100vh to have for my hero section.
You can set an element to be fit the height or width of its parent container, but I do not think Figma provides any hook to set elements to the size of the user’s viewport (width or height). In your context, try adding auto-layout to a container and set the elements’ width/height to “fill container”. This might be a decent enough solution for you.
I have an issue where I often work in Figma with 2560x1440 resolution, but when I demo work I adjust my resolution to 1920x1080 to make it easier to review over screenshare. So I have to set the size of elements on the page based on the resolution I intend to demo at because there is no dynamic scaling based on the user’s viewport.
I’d love to be wrong on this point, so if I’m missing something please anyone share.
Any update on this ?
