Variants are only created vertically below the previous variant. This is a problem for assets such as menus which are vertical in nature. Allow the creation of a new variant horizontally as well as vertically. Ideally if you setup in an artboard, the new variant would be created below or to the right automatically based on the available space in the artboard.

If you can put handles for protoyping linking on all sides, certainly it’s just a coupla keystrokes of code
