You need to do something with it, because the way drag direction works when you made 2 drag triggers is not clear, i want to choose what have to be when i drag in left or right direction, now i can made few drag triggers but cant choose the direction and it sets automatically, and not always the way it has to be. Make something with it please
Hey @Elyriades, sorry to hear you’re having trouble using the On drag trigger!
Can you share more on exactly what you’re trying to prototype, so we can better understand the complexity of the On drag interactions you’re hoping to build?
As an example, I was able to create this simple prototype that allows me to drag forward and back through a carousel of a few photos.
Here’s how I set up my Interactions:
Depending on the complexity of your prototype, if this doesn’t clear things up for you, we can also work with our advanced prototyping team.
I dont want to use slide in animation. If you want to understand how drag option work, try to make some different interactions with drag trigger with smart animate option ans make drag 1 and drag 2, in layer that have row, while its row it works, what if i use another (not row layer) and make interaction in it with the response of slider and need same feature as build in unnecessary drag option for row layers? It will not work, cause i have to choose the direction and the layer. You mixed everything in one and got porridge
Thanks for clarifying, @Elyriades!
Right now, On drag can be used on an entire frame or a single element like a slider.
While it can be used in any direction: Left, Right, Up or Down, it’s currently optimized for simple swipe gestures and/or more slightly complex animations like drag to refresh.
We’ve updated your feature request for clarity, since it’s currently expected to not be able to set a specific direction. Because of that, it’s also expected to manually build out the specific interactions for what it sounds like you’re trying to achieve, as a workaround.
We’ll pass this onto the prototyping team for future consideration. Don’t forget to also vote up top! Our teams use votes from the community to prioritize and gauge overall interest from the community.
