Hi guys,
I’ve seen posts with this problem from long ago, seems that it has not been fixed by Figma?
The overrides for interactive components (in my case it’s changing the background on hover) keep showing me the default copy when I hover.
It’s so frustrating, and it seems that there is no fix as far as I researched?
I’ve tried some workarounds suggested by strugglers, but it did not work for me.

Have you used component properties and this problem still occurs?
Not really. I think i had to redo them from scratch
But I have not figured out the cause of the problem
Still a problem for me!! Hasn’t this issue been addressed by Figma?
Do you mean text when you say “copy”?
Make sure the original component’s text is identical between the different variants / states.
You can utilize text properties to change the text in the component instance.
Sorry!! Not copy!! The overrides are being ignored. How can I attach a mov here so that you can see. This is happening in all my files!! 
Please hover over both buttons on the right with the icon overrides. tks!!
