I am a community advocate for FOF, Sofia for Bulgaria and we experience difficulties when we want to use Bulgarian Cyrillic in several fonts with the “Stylistic sets” feature, but Bulgarian Cyrillic just doesn’t work. When I try the same in Adobe Illustrator for example - there are no problems. The only solution we’re able to find is to change the font’s core defaults to this type of Cyrillic, otherwise, it is impossible to use the stylistic set in Figma.
Hi everyone! Sorry for the trouble and thank you for flagging this. This is already on our radar, and our engineering team is investigating the issue further. We don’t have a timeline on a fix at the moment, but we thank you for your patience.
Hi there This is an issue, that needs a resolution ASAP. I haven’t had any issues so far with fonts supporting Bulgarian Cyrillic, however now I do for a few days. This reflects negatively on my designs, which I believe happened with the latest Figma update. @Celine_Figma, I rely on your fast assistance in that matter.
Hello @vasil.tashkov ,
Thank you for your feedback! I’ve rechecked internally with the team. Unfortunately, this is a feature limitation that would require a medium amount of effort to resolve it. Though I can’t guarantee an ETA for any improvements now, I would be happy to share your feedback with the team as we continue working to track areas of improvement in Figma. We appreciate your help giving this more visibility!
