Developers have reversed layer selection when clicking on figma layers (CMD + Click shows the top layer instead of the deepest layer)

I have a strange problem working together with other team members (devs, view-only).

Whenever they select a layer to export, they have the “deep-selection”-functionality. So they automatically select the deepest layer with just a simple click. As for me, it is CMD + Click. When they use CMD + Click, they see the top layer.

Is there a way to adjust this setting somewhere?
