I need to add a numeric footnote to type that is in a text box.

When I make it a “Superscript” in Figma, the number is too large.

When I decrease the size of this footnote numeral, the number gets too low.

Please help me find out how to use a tool like “baseline shifting” in other applications to get this footnote to be at the desired height within the same text box.

Yes! Figma could use some superscript love for sure. Either that or allow us to lower the point size and baseline shift. Both would be ideal.
