Hi, Ive been using Figma for a year with a team project. I am now using it on my own as a freelancer and doing basically the same operations. Uploading Affinity-made SVG files to share. I am just finding that when I upload an SVG (which looks fine in my quick-look/preview) The line weights get mad thick, so much so that you cant see the image at all. Ive tried dropping in the svg and choosing the file to import it with the same result. Ive set viewbox and unset viewbox to no avail. Please advise.
Hi @Daniel127 sorry to hear this is happening! Is this happening only with SVGs exported from Affinity?
Can you please reach out to the support team directly via this form for help: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Be sure to use your Figma account email, and include the SVG file so they can take a closer look.
Hi @Ryan_52 thanks, I havent tried it with any other SVG files, I only use Affintity, but with my last project I also only used affinity. I tetsted one of the old files and it did the same thing. I know Figma doesnt support gradients/effects, dynamic line weight and clipping features yet, but what ive uploaded should have any of those issues. Ill try the support team.
Still waiting to hear back from The support team… I created a ticket on the 30th and dont seem to have received any feedback…? Does it usually take a while to get a response?
