If I create two components with a text property. Then select both and combine them as variants. If I create a interactive component on hover. The text will revert back to the original on the hover.
This doesn’t happen if I do the right click > main component > add variant.
Do your two components have the same layer structure and layer names? They need to be the same for the override to stick.
This one has the same structure, but works. The only difference was how I added the variant. Through grouping two components vs right clicking and adding variant.
