Anyone can edit Figjam file when public link is set to 'can view'

I’m on the free plan.
Though the I have set the public link to be ‘can view’ anonymous users can edit the board/file.

Is this as intended or am I missing something?
There’s no option to end an ‘open session’

There was a bubble at the top of the file when I created it that said something like “others can edit this file for 24 hours” - but I dismissed that.

This appears to be a quirk of my old account.
I create a new account and shared a file with link mode as ‘can view’ and sharing permission is working as expected i.e. view only
