Currently the “update from main” feature only allows for accepting broad changes to the variant set. But I’d only like to accept changes on specific variants within the set so that I can further push other updates from a branch on other variants to the main file.

Agreed. I would add the possibility to update (from main) a certain change on a specific component (say, a change in the description), while keeping another change (eg a change in a property’s name) that comes from the branch. It currently seems impossible.

Reading this from wanting the same thing
