UI3 Pin Comment to Top Left

We’d love to get a clearer picture of what you’re suggesting. Could you give us a bit more detail? Which part of the top left are you looking to pin the comment to—the canvas or an object?

How do I keep a comment open while I am working in Figma? I was previously able to do that but now I have to copy the text from the comment into Figma.

Are you looking to select and work on objects in canvas while maintaining this state?

If so, it appears not possible at the moment, but it sounds like a great feature request!

Yes, thats correct. It was available in the previous UI, but not in UI3.

I tested on my end in UI3, and it appears that if you move the comment modal to the top-left of the canvas, you can interact with objects in the canvas while the comment is open.

You cannot open two comments at once, but if you click on another comment on the canvas, the top-left one will switch to that comment. Please review the video provided.

Does this align with what you were looking to achieve?

Ah, I see it is still there. The last UI had a button you can click and it would just move to the top left and stay open. That was super helpful, it saves times.
