Not able to add presenter notes in Figma Slides

I am unable to add notes to my Figma slides. I followed the instructions for adding presenter notes from this help article.

No notes field appears. When I present with notes, the empty notes fields are present. Is this a glitch?

I am using Chrome on Mac (Version 126.0.6478.127 (Official Build) (x86_64).

Had the same issue - turns out you need to click the gray line on the bottom. When you hover over it it says “Show presenter notes”.
