I would REALLY love some additional zoom options on the prototype view.
I’m constantly going to different presentation rooms, some with TV’s, some projectors, and the resolution scaling of each (including my own monitors) means there just simply isn’t enough options to present effectively.
For the most part this:
really only offers me two different views, and for me that’s just not enough.
For sure I want to add separate options for both Fill and Fit:
Scale DOWN to Fit width
Scale DOWN to Fit height
Scale UP to Fill width ONLY
Scale UP to Fill height ONLY
But I’d never be opposed to a simple custom zoom, so we can try to actually match real pixel width on various screens with scaling.
My internally team has shifted away from presenting design work in Google Slides and is instead presenting within the Figma Prototype view. However, we’re unable to zoom in on certain aspects during the presentation unless choosing !00% (which is way too zoomed in). Additionally, when passing the designs to the client to review, we’re having them review in the Figma Prototype link and they aren’t able to zoom into the sections they’re wanting a closer look at. We’d need additional zoom settings within the prototye view to allow for zooming out from 100% (besides Fit To options, since they’re too zoomed out).
Example here: https://www.loom.com/share/43a518c057604623aadd3c333a7e532a?sid=1b5259f4-9008-4b8c-8fe1-7d9d8e746767
We really need to be able to zoom into certain areas, but not 100% zoomed in, as that is way too big to read the frame as a whole. If this isn’t possible, we may have to resort back to google slides for presenting and receiving design feedback from clients.
