Lost figma files (not deleted by user)

Hi,

We were exploring Figma for our team so we’ve bought one paid account. We’ve played with roles, folders, files etc.

During this process one client critical file has been lost. Files has not been deleted by account owner or any of other team members. Files is not available under “deleted”.

We are missing the file as it is business critical. Is there any chance to recover it. We’ve already send ticket or two to support but no feedback yet?

I’ve red through the forums and saw there are some cases when deleting teams/projects or some other strange setup may “create” a missing file status.

However I am not sure how to proceed to try this option.

Yes, usually this happens when your team has been deleted. The good news is that you can restore a deleted team by clicking ‘Restore your team here’ in the team deleted email sent.
