Drag and drop Export?

I’d love to be able to Export a Figma object by dragging it out of the Figma window and dropping it at my desktop or a folder. The object name could be used as file name and default Export settings can apply. Currently exporting objects requires multiple clicks which can become annoying especially when you need to export several objects individually.

Maybe there’s a plugin or shortcut for this that I don’t know about?

File → Export… (Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + E) is probably what you are looking for. This menu allows you to export multiple objects with different export settings at the same time.
