Bug: Texts become bold once selected

Hey, not sure if this is the right section. If it isn’t, just let me know.

I’ve been struggling with this issue for a few weeks right now, and it really affects my productivity.

When I select a Regular weight text style, Figma converts it to Bold. I was not able to identify a pattern of what causes this or when this happens.

Found another thread of the same issue, it is 9 months old now: Figma glitch: Style text weight changes from regular to bold irreversibly and breaks all links with font style

Does anyone have a fix for this?

    Deleting the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders from %APPDATA%\Figma fixed the issue.

    Rebooting the computer kinda fixed the issue. Whenever I select the bold texts, they go back to the regular weight. Don’t know how long until it starts again though.

      Here you can find them: /Users/{user}/Library/Application Support/Figma

      For me, all the texts that were changing to bold once selected had a variable that controlled the font family. I’ve just unlinked that variable and the problem was resolved.
