This icon is not showing for me

for some reason this icon is not showing for me why is that?

The reasons could be:

  • The objects are not inside the same parent
  • The objects are inside of an auto layout which has its own controls
  • The objects are misaligned too much so Figma can’t figure out how to align them
  • The objects are within an instance so they can’t be moved
  • You are not directly selecting the objects you want to align but instead selecting their parent(s)
