How do I copy my vector as SVG but retain a single path?

In some cases when I outline my words (using the Outline Stroke tool), the output of the “Copy as SVG” function is a single path code, while other times it creates a path for each letter. What is the deciding factor for the program to create singular or more paths in this situation?

Combine each shape, the Path of the exported SVG will become one.
