How can I switch a Frame to Landscape or Portrait orientation in new version?

Hi Windmail,

In not sure if this is the correct answer you are looking for, but would this do the trick for you?

This of course does not work if you want the content in the frame to stay in a fixed direction.

Hi Rasmus Polaszk, Thank you for your reply.

I remember that in the last version of Figma, when switching between landscape and portrait, I can just swap the width and height without changing the Rotation, is this feature deprecated?

Hi @windmail

It has been left out on the new UI, but according to Figma’s designer/advocate it should make a comeback in the interface soon

About the design

“We’re adding library information for components, bringing back frame orientation controls, and making improvements to blend modes. All coming soon.”

Hi, @Haroll

Thanks for letting me know! That’s great news.

NOTE: If you do end up rotating the frame, please note that adding autolayouts will now act opposite. i.e., adding a horizontal autolayout will behave like a vertical autolayout. this was messing me up until i figured out the reason.
