Figma no longer opens after update

Hi, I just downloaded the latest Figma update. Now it does not open anymore, I just see the loading indicator of the mac cursor and nothing happens. I also tried to download and reinstall Figma, but that did not work either. Does anyone have the same problem and could fix it?

What Mac OS are you currently running? Also, can you also try clearing the cache from your app, as noted here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22380853110551-Clear-the-Figma-desktop-app-cache

^ It may be a bit repetitive, but want to cover all bases to see if that actually gets something working.
