Please also add a Tooltip on hover of truncated Drop Down Elements to read the full text that can be maintained as Component Variant Name. (Prio 2)
Upvote - have the same problem. Would be nice if there was a tooltip on hover, even better if the dropdown could be expanded horizontally, or if it fit the width of the longest name (could be right aligned).

My entire design org has this issue when trying to access a text component with various options. @Figma_Support is there ANY fix to this? Seems like basic stuff.
Please fix this @Figma_Team it doesn’t make sense to have variant names limited to 1 - 2 words!
Got tired of waiting so made a Chrome Extension that doubles the width of the Properties panel and the dropdowns to reduce truncation.
It also expands the DS modals.

Sweet, let me know if you encounter any issues. It’s targeting their CSS IDs so if they get changed it’ll need updating.
