After locking anything, it becomes a complete detachment and now I have to scroll through the entire list to locate them. Instead if hovering on the locked item let me unlock it then and there would be great. Or atleast auto navigate to locked files if I click on them twice or smthn.

As a side note, it may not be directly related (since you mentioned locked files), but if you are referring to locked layers/objects, you can unlock them by right-clicking on that layer in the canvas. For more information about this, you can visit the following links:
