  1. Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this
Copying text from figma that has shift+enter line spacing introduce unusual line terminator character. This usual character will display on some web browsers.

  2. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)

  1. Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation
(e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc.
Clean up manually using text editor like visual studio code.

we also experiencing it there.

Still a problem yes. Also often get this copy/pasting from Illustrator but would’ve thought Figma’s Copy Text function was more clever.

Is there any update about this?
I get the files from clients, and it’s a pain to keep copy/pasting to vscode just to check if the text has this issue.

I have the same issue, it’s a real pain. Should be an option to copy text with HTML elements such as <br> for a soft return and entities (&nbsp;) for things like a non-breaking space.

Same issue here.  Having to copy all text first from figma to visual code to check for and remove these terminators and then into the website CMS is not ideal!
