Trim Path Start & End Properties like in AE

Similar functionality to AE, and also Figma’s native Sweep functionality with Ellipses, the ability to trim any path’s Start and/or End points would allow for more optimized design and prototyping. Some examples:

  • Elegant design/prototyping of custom bar and line charts as well as interactive sliders (RN my adjustable horizontal charts and sliders components are leveraging AutoLayout right padding to adjust a stroke set to Fill)
  • More advanced/custom loader animations
  • Easily make drawn path animations

      I’ve always wanted this, it would really make prototyping all sorts of animations so much easier in Figma!

        There’s a plugin I use for that called " Variable width Stroke".

        Bumping this. Trim path from one start of a variable to a second variable with an end path would be killer.

        UPDATE!!! They did it! This feature is now released with Figma Motion. Go into figma motion and select any path with a stroke (set to Center align) and you can now trim and animate from Path start/end.
